If you want to dive into the world of digital assets, you will need an account on one of the crypto exchanges, where you can buy, sell and convert different cryptocurrencies. For the newly registered members, trading platforms usually offer a lot of promotions, from referral links to free coins. In this article, I will provide a detailed overview of the bonuses provided by the four most popular crypto exchanges, so you can maximize your profits from the first day!

Coinbase

Minimum deposit: $2

Transaction fees: 0.5%-4.5% depending on the type of transaction

Coinbase is a good place to start for crypto newbies, often regarded as the most user-friendly platform. Founded in 2012, it now has over 73 million customers and supports over 100 cryptocurrencies, with this number steadily growing. For more advanced traders, there’s a Pro version with more features available for any user. Additionally, Coinbase runs its self-custody cryptocurrency wallet. The platform ecosystem provides all the tools the beginner crypto investor may need.

Coinbase has a referral program that allows the newly registered user and their invitee to receive a bonus. The invitee must register an account via the referral link and purchase some cryptocurrency. The bonus sum may vary depending on the time and country. Note that the invitee must be of the same residence as you. Coinbase Pro users aren’t eligible for the referral bonus.

Apart from the referral bonuses, you can earn some crypto for watching educational videos on Coinbase Earn. Complete the short quiz after and get your reward, but make sure that your country is eligible for the program.

The new users from the US (excluding Hawaii), who haven’t used the referral program, can test their luck and spin the wheel to receive a reward between $3-$200 BTC. Another bonus for the US residents is $5 sent to the account after the first purchase on the exchange.

Binance

Minimum deposit: $10

Transaction fees: 0.1%-5% depending on payment methods

Binance is the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange and the industry leader. The platform is designed for experienced investors with many trading tools and options, so it may be a bit confusing for beginners. Yet it’s worth giving it a try, particularly for the low fees and hundreds of listed cryptocurrencies. There’s also a version for the US users only, but it’s more limited and unavailable in the six states.

Binance offers a 25% discount on trading fees for paying in its native currency BNB. It also has a referral program with a maximum rate of 40%, depending on the amount of BNB held. Inviter can decide what percentage they’d like to share with invitees - 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, or 20%.

Apart from the referral program, Binance has a separate Affiliate program for crypto influencers and organizations. Affiliates can earn up to 50% lifetime commissions on every qualified trade, while invitees can earn up to $100 in bonus rewards for completing three welcome tasks like making a first deposit or trade.

Crypto.com

Minimum deposit: $1

Transaction fees: 0.04%-0.4%

Crypto.com is one of the leading crypto exchanges, known for its impressive digital ecosystem that includes native coin Cronos (CRO) and blockchain, mobile app, staking platform, wallet, and crypto visa card. The platform supports over 250 cryptocurrencies and is available in 90 countries.

Just like Binance, Crypto.com offers trading discounts for CRO holders. Its referral program also depends on the staked amount of CROs, with bonuses ranging between $10 and $2000 for inviter and $10 or $50 for the invitee. Both sides have to be verified at the advanced level. Note that the Crypto.com referral program is not cross-platform. App-only user’s code won’t work for the Crypto.com Exchange users, so make sure you both use the same platform.

FTX

Minimum deposit: $0

Transaction fees: 0%-0.4%

FTX is a centralized global crypto exchange that supports more than 300 cryptocurrencies and offers advanced features for experienced investors like futures and margin trading. Due to regulatory issues, it’s unavailable for the US residents, but the partner company FTX.US provides more limited services for users from the United States.

FTX native token, FTT, enables its holders to receive discounts on their platform fees, up to 60% depending on the amount of FTT staked. Like other mentioned exchanges, FTX has its referral program – for every user that signs up via the link, the inviter receives 25%-40% of their fees, while the invitee gets 5% back. Again, the referral rate is determined by the amount of held FTTs.
