The SSV Network, which is the decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) overseeing the SSV Network Protocol, has unveiled two new initiatives to bolster community involvement and participation.
Through the SSVDivers Ambassador Program and the Community Associates Program, the project aims to enable higher levels of engagement while also incentivizing community contributions.
Empowering Community Members
The SSVDivers Program is tailored to empower community members by providing them with the necessary resources, guidelines, and opportunities to propose and manage projects that align with their personal interests and the SSV Network's overarching mission. With this initiative, participants are encouraged to combine their unique skills with SSV technology to advance the future of decentralized staking.
LinkoPlus of the SSVDivers Program expressed enthusiasm about the initiative. “It's an honor to represent and help the SSV community, “ LinkoPlus said. “Being part of an organization that lives up to the Ethereum ethos is amazing, and it's awesome to see how fast SSV is growing,” LinkoPlus added.
Complementing the SSVDivers Program, the Community Associates Program aims to incentivize members to participate in marketing efforts, create and localize content, and promote SSV's vision. This program is intended to amplify the SSV ecosystem's presence and boost engagement within the community.
Set to run for at least a year, both programs will also offer a variety of incentive mechanisms, including rewards, limited-edition merchandise, and recognition within the community. During this time, community members will have several opportunities to get involved and raise awareness of SSV technology's potential to strengthen decentralized staking.
Statements from SSV Leadership
Elad Gafni, Operations Manager of the SSV Foundation, emphasized the importance of community participation in driving the adoption of SSV technology.
“Driving greater adoption of SSV technology isn’t just a task for developers: it calls for participation of the entire community, whose skills are instrumental in raising awareness of the many ways in which DVT modules can be used to enhance the ETH staking landscape,” Gafni said.
“The SSVDivers Ambassador Program and Community Associates Program provide a practical way for the community to get directly involved and reap the rewards and recognition their hard work warrants. In the process, they’ll help to create the content and other valuable resources that will make it easier for builders to create novel applications based upon SSV’s open source protocol, ” the Operations Manager added.
About SSV.Network
SSV Network's distributed validator technology (DVT) enables developers to build DVT-powered staking and restaking applications. As a DAO-owned and open-sourced protocol, SSV is accessible for third-party developers to create applications that bolster the staking ecosystem centered around Ethereum and its L2 networks.
With over 720 decentralized node operators securing more than 32,000 ETH validators, SSV Network continues to grow. Currently, 41 SSV-based services and applications are under development, ranging from tooling to restaking. SSV’s DVT infrastructure facilitates the distribution of ETH validator nodes across multiple machines and components, enhancing the robustness of the staking network.
SSV recently celebrated the milestone of 1 million ETH staked and the introduction of SSV nodes to the Lido Simple DVT module.
