As the crypto industry awaits the highly anticipated Merge, Vitalik decided to focus on educating the community, announcing the release of his book of essays collected for the first time from across the internet for new readers.
“His writing stands in contrast to the hype that so often accompanies crypto in the public imagination. He presents it instead as a fascinating set of social, economic, and political possibilities, opening a window into a conversation that far more of us could be having,” the description reads.
A physical copy is available for preorder from several retailers, including Amazon, Target, Walmart, Barnes & Noble, Hudson, and Powells. And for 0.1337 ETH, you can receive a unique NFT and a signed digital copy of a book through the Gitcoin platform.
“The book signing tech here is novel and would be great to see more authors signing books with their eth keys + issuing them as NFTs,” the Gitcoin founder Kevin Owocki replied to Vitalik’s tweet.
All proceeds from the book sale will go to support Gitcoin Grants, a quarterly event by Gitcoin that crowdfunds startups and projects focused on regenerative crypto economics. The next funding round, GR15, will take place from September 7-22, and the deadline for grant applications is September 3.
