Sharps Technology, Inc. (STSS) has joined forces with Crypto.com to enhance its Solana-focused digital asset strategy, signaling a strong institutional commitment to the blockchain ecosystem. This partnership allows STSS to leverage Crypto.com’s institutional-grade custody infrastructure and OTC desk, providing deep liquidity, competitive pricing, and efficient execution.
Strengthening Institutional Digital Asset Management
According to the press release, STSS has acquired over 2 million SOL tokens worth more than $400 million. The move aims to align traditional finance strategies with the Solana ecosystem. By channeling part of this capital into Solana projects through Crypto.com, the company seeks to generate yield and improve network liquidity.
Additionally, this collaboration enables broader access to qualified custodians for Solana projects, supporting ecosystem growth and fostering more efficient financial infrastructure. Eric Anziani, President and COO of Crypto.com, emphasized that the platform offers the comprehensive capabilities institutions require to manage digital asset treasuries safely.
Moreover, STSS Strategic Advisor James Zhang highlighted that this approach reflects a dual strategy, strengthening the balance sheet while actively contributing to Solana’s development. Hence, this partnership not only secures STSS’s treasury but also promotes long-term ecosystem growth.
