Bored Brothers is a new NFT music project developed by Norwegian music producer and electronic artist KYGO in collaboration with Ryan Tedder, the Grammy-winning lead vocalist of the pop rock band OneRepublic. Both musicians have experimented with NFTs in the past.

Their lead single DRIP is expected to blend dance and hip hop with genres like deep house, Miami bass and Phonk. Much like the UMG’s Kingship, the project leverages KYGO and Tedder’s Bored Apes to integrate DRIP with visual animations.

According to Bored Brothers, DRIP will live in the real world as well as the Metaverse, with “collaborations” and “experimentations” to come.

A listening party, first presale, then public, starts at 7pm GMT on Friday, April 22. In the presale, Bored Ape holders will be able to purchase one edition each before the remaining supply goes on general sale. In total, BAYC members will be able to grab up to 100 out of 300 editions.

Each limited edition DRIP NFT comes with a seat in the virtual audience and the chance to make a public comment about the song. A randomly selected edition, which has not yet been revealed, will also be promoted to a 1/1 and include a credit in the DRIP music video, as well as a meeting with the Bored Brothers at a live show.
