Key takeaways
- XRP ETFs attract just $740,400 on October 14
- Cumulative inflows reach $1.8 billion despite slowing demand
- Bitwise accounts for all latest XRP ETF inflows
US spot XRP exchange-traded funds attracted just $740,400 in net inflows on October 14, highlighting a sharp slowdown in fresh institutional demand despite cumulative investments reaching approximately $1.8 billion since the products began launching in November 2025.
The latest figures reveal a growing contrast between the money investors have committed to XRP funds over time and the relatively modest amounts entering them now. Total net assets stood at approximately $1.509 billion, nearly $294 million below cumulative net inflows.
According to SoSoValue's XRP ETF tracker, cumulative net inflows reached $1.803 billion following Wednesday's session, while Bitwise was the only issuer to attract new capital during the day.
XRP ETF Inflows Slow to $740,000 as Bitwise Leads
Wednesday's modest inflow contrasts sharply with the stronger institutional demand recorded during September.
US spot XRP ETFs attracted approximately $22.6 million on September 25 alone, followed by $14.9 million on September 24 and $18 million on September 23.
By October 14, however, daily inflows had slowed to just $740,400, with the entire amount entering the Bitwise XRP ETF.
The fund had accumulated approximately $688 million in net inflows since launch, making it the largest contributor among the tracked products. Franklin Templeton followed with approximately $509 million, while Canary Capital recorded nearly $487 million.
Grayscale and 21Shares reported no new inflows on October 14, alongside the other funds that remained unchanged.
The weaker daily reading follows a period of sustained institutional XRP demand, during which the funds reportedly maintained a 13-week inflow streak even as the cryptocurrency's price declined.
However, a single weak trading session does not necessarily indicate that investors are abandoning XRP ETFs.
Why Are XRP ETF Assets Below Cumulative Inflows?
Another significant development is the difference between the money entering XRP funds and the market value of their current holdings.
As of October 14, XRP ETFs had attracted approximately $1.803 billion in cumulative net inflows, while their combined net assets were valued at just $1.509 billion.
The discrepancy reflects the impact of XRP price changes alongside fund flows and other factors affecting assets under management.
ETF net inflows measure subscriptions minus redemptions, while net assets represent the current value of holdings after market fluctuations and fund-level adjustments.
Consequently, the difference should not be interpreted as a precise measure of investor losses without accounting for the timing of purchases, redemptions and changes in fund assets.
Coinpaper previously reported how crypto ETFs acquire digital assets, explaining why inflows do not translate directly into immediate purchases of equivalent amounts on spot exchanges.
Can XRP ETF Demand Recover as Prices Remain Weak?
The slowdown comes as XRP continues struggling to recover from October's cryptocurrency selloff.
Coinpaper recently reported that XRP declined approximately 7.3% during the October 5–9 period, even as US spot XRP ETFs attracted about $11 million in new investments.
That contrast suggests regulated investment demand has not been sufficient to offset selling elsewhere in the cryptocurrency market.
Nevertheless, the longer-term ETF picture remains substantially stronger than the latest daily figures suggest. Cumulative inflows have continued rising, even while the market value of fund holdings has fluctuated with XRP prices.
