How Much Will Disney World Cost After the Latest Price Increase?

Disney World and Disneyland prices are increasing in 2026, with higher ticket, annual pass and Lightning Lane costs for some visitors.

Disney has raised prices in parts of its US theme park business. Some Walt Disney World visitors are facing record ticket prices while Disneyland guests will also pay more for certain admission tiers and add-ons.

The changes took effect in October of 2026 and affects park tickets, annual passes and Lightning Lane services, although Disney has kept several lower-priced options unchanged.

How Much Are Disney World Tickets Increasing?

The biggest increase is coming to Walt Disney World in Florida, where the highest-priced one-day, one-park ticket will reach $229 for Magic Kingdom on peak dates like Christmas Day and New Year's Eve in 2027.

That is up from the previous maximum of $219 and is also a new record for a standard single-park Disney World ticket.

Annual passes are also getting more expensive. The top-level Incredi-Pass has climbed $120 to $1,749, while the Sorcerer Pass increased to $1,139, the Pirate Pass to $909 and the Pixie Dust Pass to $499.

Disney's premium Lightning Lane Premier Pass is another major expense, with its maximum price rising from $449 to $499 per person at Disney World.

A family of four buying four $229 single-day tickets could therefore spend $916 on admission alone, before taxes, food, hotels, parking or optional services.

Is Disneyland Getting More Expensive Too?

Disneyland Resort in California also increased prices, although its changes are smaller. Four of its seven one-day ticket tiers increased by $5. Tier 1 tickets now cost $134, Tier 2 costs $154, Tier 3 costs $174 and Tier 4 costs $189.

Disney kept both its cheapest $104 ticket and its highest-priced $224 ticket unchanged.

Disneyland's Lightning Lane Multi Pass now costs $35 when purchased in advance, up from $34, while same-day pricing starts at $38 instead of $37. Park Hopper add-ons have also increased. Magic Key annual passes and standard parking prices were left unchanged.

Why Is Disney Raising Prices?

The latest increases continue Disney's strategy of maintaining some lower-cost entry options while charging much more on high-demand dates and for premium services.

Disney is simultaneously investing heavily in its theme parks, with new lands and attractions planned across Walt Disney World and Disneyland. For visitors, however, the latest changes mean timing a Disney vacation could make a large difference to the final bill.
