XRP Price Prediction: Vincent Van Code Says XRP Could Reach $100 Within 3 Years

Software engineer and XRP commentator Vincent Van Code pushed back against the argument that a credible path to $100 would already have driven XRP to $20.

His argument is that markets do not necessarily price distant outcomes immediately. Instead, he expects confidence to arrive gradually and XRP to rise in a “saw tooth” pattern over the next three years, ultimately reaching $100 or more.

The comparison he makes is straightforward: Bitcoin and Ethereum also spent years trading far below levels that later became reality.

$100 XRP Would Mean a Valuation Above $6 Trillion

The scale of the prediction is significant.

XRP closed around $1.49 on Oct. 4, with a market capitalization of roughly $94 billion, according to CoinCodex.

At the current circulating supply of roughly 63 billion XRP, a price of $20 would imply a market capitalization near $1.26 trillion. At $100, that figure would rise to approximately $6.3 trillion.

That makes the $100 target considerably more ambitious than simply repeating XRP's previous bull-market performance.

Coinpaper previously reported whether XRP can reach $100 and found that the biggest hurdle is precisely this valuation requirement. The target is mathematically possible, but would require XRP to become one of the largest financial assets in the world.

A $100 XRP would imply a market cap of roughly $6.3 trillion.

The Debate Is Really About When Markets Price In Adoption

Van Code's argument addresses another long-running criticism of extreme XRP forecasts: if sophisticated investors genuinely expected enormous future gains, why would XRP still trade below $2?

Former Ripple CTO David Schwartz previously used essentially that reasoning while challenging a much more extreme $10,000 XRP prediction, arguing that credible expectations of such returns should already influence today's market price.

Van Code takes the opposite view, arguing that conviction can build incrementally as adoption and confidence increase.

Other bullish forecasts sit between those extremes. Analyst Ali Martinez recently mapped a potential $60 XRP target, although his technical setup first requires XRP to secure a monthly close above $3.66.
