Bitcoin Price Prediction: Can BTC Reclaim $80K After the CLARITY Act Crash?

Bitcoin is near $76K after the CLARITY Act setback. With ETF outflows and the Fed in focus, can BTC recover $80K or fall toward $72K?

Bitcoin Price Prediction: Can BTC Reclaim $80K After the CLARITY Act Crash?

BTC is trading around $75,800 after briefly approaching $75,000, with the latest decline accelerating after the U.S. Senate failed to advance the CLARITY Act. The procedural vote failed 49–50, short of the 60 votes needed to move forward.

Now the question is simple: Can Bitcoin reclaim $80,000, or is another leg lower coming?

$80K Just Became Harder to Reclaim

Bitcoin had recently pushed into the low-$82,000 area before momentum faded.

The CLARITY Act setback added another source of pressure, while elevated Treasury yields and expectations around Federal Reserve policy have made conditions more difficult for risk assets.

The move also triggered a major liquidation cascade, wiping out hundreds of millions of dollars in leveraged crypto longs.

Bitcoin ETFs Add Another Warning

Institutional demand has weakened too.

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded roughly $450 million in net outflows on Sept. 15, reversing the previous session's improvement.

That's significant because ETF demand has been one of Bitcoin's major sources of buying pressure. Persistent withdrawals could make a return above $80,000 more difficult.

It also reinforces the same problem behind Bitcoin's recent struggle to break $82K: rallies need sustained spot demand, not just leveraged traders.

Bitcoin Price Prediction: $80K or $72K?

The immediate level to watch is $74,000–$75,000.

If buyers defend this area and BTC recovers $77,000, another attempt at $80,000 becomes possible. Breaking that resistance could put the recent $82,000 highs back into focus.

But losing $74,000 would weaken the setup considerably and could expose Bitcoin to a deeper correction toward approximately $72,000–$72,500.
