Ethereum is showing renewed strength against Bitcoin after reclaiming its bull market support band and breaking a long-term downtrend. A sustained move above 0.03 BTC could confirm the breakout and open the way toward 0.032–0.035 BTC.
Ethereum Reclaim Signals Potential Bitcoin Outperformance
Ethereum has reclaimed its weekly bull market support band against Bitcoin, according to analyst MikybullCrypto. The move suggests ETH may be entering a period of relative strength after months of underperformance.

The ETH/BTC pair has also moved above its descending trendline, while the weekly RSI has recovered toward 50. Holding above the support band could confirm the breakout and bring the 0.031 BTC and 0.035 BTC resistance levels into focus.
However, ETH must remain above the reclaimed band for the setup to hold. A weekly close back below the breakout area would weaken the outperformance case and suggest Bitcoin remains the stronger asset.
ETH/BTC Needs 0.03 to Confirm the Breakout
Ethereum has closed above its weekly bull market support band against Bitcoin for the first time since late 2025, according to Daan Crypto Trades. The pair is also attempting to break the descending channel that has controlled its broader downtrend.

A sustained move above 0.03 BTC would confirm stronger follow-through and improve Ethereum’s chances of outperforming Bitcoin. The next resistance areas would sit near 0.032 BTC and 0.034 BTC.
However, the breakout remains unconfirmed while ETH/BTC trades below 0.03. Falling back beneath the support band around 0.0287 BTC would weaken the setup and raise the risk of another move toward 0.0262 BTC.
