Truth Social, developed by Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG), is venturing into the prediction market through a new collaboration with the Crypto.com exchange.
According to the announcement, Truth Social will become the first social network in the world to let users trade forecast contracts directly within its platform.
The upcoming feature, called Truth Predict, will allow users to trade on event outcomes across multiple sectors — from politics and sports to commodities like gold and oil. Contracts will be managed through Crypto.com Derivatives North America (CDNA), a subsidiary registered with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
Beta testing is expected to begin soon, followed by a U.S. rollout and later a global launch. All contracts will be traded in Cronos (CRO), the native token of the Crypto.com ecosystem.
Bringing Forecast Trading To The Masses
Crypto.com is leading the technical side of the project, while TMTG continues to integrate CRO tokens deeper into its products, including as part of an upcoming rewards program.
“We’re thrilled to become the world’s first public social platform offering users access to prediction markets,” said TMTG CEO Devin Nunes. “Truth Predict will give our community a trusted, social way to compare and discuss their forecasts.”
Crypto.com CEO Chris Marszalek added that the global prediction market industry is poised to become a billion-dollar space. Through this partnership, TMTG aims to capture part of that growth and compete with existing platforms like Kalshi and Polymarket, both of which have collaborated with the National Hockey League (NHL) in the past.
However, not all regulators are enthusiastic. Some U.S. authorities have labeled such contracts as a form of gambling. In particular, New York regulators have ordered Kalshi to stop promoting prediction contracts in the state, prompting the company to file a lawsuit in response.
Despite regulatory headwinds, the Truth Predict launch positions Truth Social as a key player in the growing intersection of social media, crypto, and market forecasting.
